Conquer the Roof of Greece: Full-Day Mount Olympus Hike
Embark on a 12-hour adventure to reach the summit of Mount Olympus, the legendary home of the Greek gods.
Tour Highlights:
- 08:00 Start: Meet your guide and begin the journey towards Mount Olympus.
- Scenic Drive: Enjoy a 3-hour drive, including breaks, to the south side of Mount Olympus. Arrive at Christakis Valley (2,450m), a stunning yet rugged landscape.
- Preparation: Rest and prepare your personal and climbing gear for the ascent.
- Trail to Skala Summit: Follow a well-marked trail for an hour to reach Skala summit (2,880m).
- Final Ascent to Mytikas Peak: Tackle a demanding 600m route with the aid of rope techniques ensuring your safety.
- Reach the Summit: Stand on “Pantheon” Mytikas Peak (2,918m), Greece’s highest point, by 14:00. Capture unforgettable moments, sign the mountaineer’s book, and soak in the energy of this iconic location.
Return Journey: Begin your descent and enjoy the scenic drive back to town, arriving around 20:00.
